TECHSMITH SNAGIT VS CAMTASIA SOFTWARE
Why would it trouble Techsmith if their customers used the app on a work project during the trial period? The software company I work for has a 30 day trial and we put no such limitations on the app. ISBN-10: 1-59822-037-3 10987654321 0703 TechSmith, Camtasia, Camtasia Studio, SnagIt, and Ensharpen are registered trademarks of TechSmith Corporation. Why are you hassling me with a petty Watermark at this point? If I am going through the trouble to download and test it, it means I am serious about upgrading.if it works properly and helps me get my work done faster. What part of that is so difficult to understand? I bought a license of Camtasia and have upgraded it 3 times since. It tells the customer "You can play with it, but cannot use it on a professional project." I cannot tell if it will make my job harder or easier without testing it on a long work project. Slapping a watermark on the rendered output utterly defeats the purpose.

That means I HAVE TO TEST IT ON A REAL WORLD/WORK PROJECT, in order to come to that determination. I need to know it will hold up and not give me major problems when I am working on a tutorial. That's just it.why would ANYONE "put the application through it paces" for many hours (a typical tutorial video I work on, takes many hours or days, and the edits sometimes approach 50-100 if not more), knowing they cannot use the content they spent so much time on (the watermark makes it useless for professional work)?
TECHSMITH SNAGIT VS CAMTASIA FULL VERSION
To the best of my knowledge, the only difference between the trial version and the full version is that produced videos are watermarked otherwise, the trial version allows even a professional user the opportunity to put the entire app through its paces."
